በዛሬዉ ዕለት በኬንያ የሚኖሩ ከ500 በላይ የወላይታ ተወላጆችና ወዳጆች በአንድነት ተሰብስበው የወላይታ ልማት ማህበር ኬንያ ቅርንጫፍ በይፋ አቋቁመዋል። የቅርጫፉ ምስረታ የተካሄደዉ በኬንያ የኢትዮጵያ ኤምባሲ ሲሆን ቅርንጫፉን ለአንድ ዓመት የሚያስተባብሩ የስራ አስፈጻሚ ኮሚቴ አባላት ተመርጠዋል፤ በመተዳደሪያ ደንብ ላይ ዉይይት ተደርጎም ጸድቋል። በምስረታዉ ስነ-ስርዓት በኬንያ የኢፌዴሪ አምባሳደር ክቡር አምባሳደር ባጫ ደበሌ እና የሚስዮኑ ምክትል መሪ አምባሳደር ደመቀ
