Wolaita Development Association (WODA), with financial support obtained from the Italian Government (Italian Presidency Council of Ministers), has provided agricultural input support aimed at sustainably improving the livelihoods of farmers.
The support was delivered through the Farms for the Future project in collaboration with a non-governmental organization known as CEFA-ETS, targeting farmers in two districts within the zone.

A total of 200 farmers in Kindo Didaye and Humbo districts benefited from this support. The assistance included various vegetable seeds, improved maize and bean seeds, as well as DAP and urea fertilizers.
This support of improved seeds and fertilizers will enable farmers to enhance their productivity and overall agricultural output.
It is recalled that, prior to this, farmers had received training on modern farming and production techniques through the Farms for the Future project implemented by the Wolaita Development Association. The training focused on modern agricultural practices and methods to improve crop quality.
The Wolaita Development Association continues to work in collaboration with partner organizations in the Wolaita Zone, focusing on modernizing agriculture and sustainably improving the livelihoods of farmers.
