በፕሮጀክቱ ድጋፍ በርካታ ዜጎች ተጠቃሚ ሆነዋል
የወላይታ ልማት ከCBM ኢትዮጵያ ባገኘው የገንዘብ ድጋፍ በሚተገብረው DIDRR (Disability Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction) ፕሮጀክት አማካይነት በዳሞት ጋሌ፣ ዳሞት ወይዴ እና ዳሞት ሶሬ ወረዳዎች አካል ጉዳተኞችን፣ የአካል ጉዳተኛ ቤተሰቦችንና ተጋላጭ የሆኑ የህብረተሰብ ክፍሎችን በማህበር በማደራጀት ገንዘብ በማስቆጠብና ከፕሮጀክቱ የመነሻ ገንዘብ በመጨመር ከየማህበራቱ ብድር እንዲያኙ በማድረግ የንግድ ስራ ዕቅድ አውጥተው እንስሳትን እንድያረቡና በጥቃቅን ንግድ እንዲሰማሩ ማድረጉ ይታወቃል፡፡
በሶስቱም ወረዳዎች የሚገኙ ማህበራት ለአባላቱ በሰጡት ብድር አባላቱ በእንስስት እርባታና በጥቃቅን የንግድ ስራ ተጠቃሚ ሆነው ኑሮአቸውን እያሻሻሉ እንደሆነ ሰሞኑን ከልማት ማህበሩ የተወጣጣ የባለሙያዎች ቡድን ምልከታ አድርጓል፡፡
በመስክ ምልከታ ወቅት በማህበር የተደራጁና የፕሮጀክቱ ተጠቃሚ የሆኑ በዳሞት ጋሌ ሀርቶ ቆንጦላ እና ሀርቶ ቡርቅቶ እና በዳሞት ወይዴ ኮዮ ሳኬና ሙንዳጃ ሳኬ ቀበሌያት በበግ፣ በፍየል፣ በወይፈንና ግደር እርባታ እንዲሁም በጥቃቅን ንግድ የተሰማሩ ግለሰቦች በተሰማሩበት የስራ ዘርፍ በርካታ ዜጎች ተጠቃሚና ውጤታማ መሆናቸውን የባለሙያዎች ቡድን ተመልክቷል፡፡
የወላይታ ልማት ማህበር ባሳለፍነው ዓመት ከላይ በተጠቀሱት እና ኪንዶ ኮይሻና ቦሎሶ ቦምቤ ወረዳዎች ለሚገኙ ማህበራት ከ2.9 ሚሊዮን ብር በላይ የሆነ ገንዘብ ብድር እንዲያገኙ ማድረጉን ማስነበባችን ይታወሳል፡:

When it comes to the issue of milk production and supply, in our country, Ethiopia, dairy products are based on small holdings and characterized by low production and productivity, In terms of milk production cost, Ethiopia is ranked among the countries with the lowest production cost in the world, and the animal products produced in the country every year are not commensurate with the growing human needs. According to the published data,. It is no secret that the current conditions in our zone show that the produce produced by the farmers is very small and does not match the needs of consumers, and the benefits of the farmers are limited. The Wolaita Development Association, which plans to address this problem as much as possible, has coordinated with SNV Ethiopia, a humanitarian organization, to launch a project called Promoting Subsistence dairy farming to market oriented sector with stakeholders.
This project will learn from Holland / SNV Ethiopia, a humanitarian organization that invests heavily in expanding dairy products and milk production companies in Ethiopia, and will provide relatively simple and convenient support to the farmers, for example, to improve milk production and quality, water quality, feed quality, and better cows. It has been suggested that they will fix housing, develop producers and suppliers through training, and provide necessary materials for the work.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Development Association, Mr. Assefa Nana, who stated that the project is the first to be implemented in our area, made use of this short-term opportunity to achieve better results and ensure the continuity of the project to benefit the community more. In this project, which will last for five months as a start, one hundred farmers will be organized, four delivery points will be arranged in Sodo City, and school milk feeding will be done widely.
At this news conference, members from the Agriculture, Finance and Education Offices of Wolaita Sodo University, Wolaita Zone, Sodo City and around Sodo were present. He said that he should be commended for thinking of working on the development of this project, as it requires everyone’s cooperation to ensure that this project is started and works well beyond the trial period.
